Container liner loaded with grain inside a shipping container

Container Liners

Bulk into a dry van

A flexible liner that turns a shipping container into a bulk vessel, no bags, no pallets.

Product description

A container liner is fitted inside a standard shipping container so dry flowable cargo can be loaded loose. The container becomes the vessel; the bags and pallets come out of the equation entirely.

They are made in polyethylene or woven polypropylene, fit 20' and 40' containers, and come in single-use or multi-use duty. Beyond the hygienic barrier against contamination and moisture, the real gain is speed: loading and unloading in bulk is far quicker than handling palletized bags, and the cost of the bags and pallets disappears.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the cargo discharged?

Usually by tipping, with an inflatable discharge angle at the door end to help the load run out cleanly. We specify the discharge arrangement against your unloading equipment.

Is it more affordable than bulk bags?

Frequently, because the bags and pallets go away and loading gets faster. It depends on your cargo and your unloading facility. Send us both and we will compare properly.

Food grade?

Yes. Tell us what you are shipping and which scheme you are audited under.

Send us the load, not a part number.

Material, fill weight, how you fill and how you discharge. That is enough for us to come back with a specification.
